JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI Digitally signed by MEGHA MOHAN Location: HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA - 2 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:31374 WP No. 17842 of 2025 ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer: a) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or order of direction directing the Trial Court to consider and dispose the divorce petition in M.C No. 2026/2021, which is pending before the 4th Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru (Annexure-C) as early as possible, within six months as may be directing by this Hon'ble court. b) Grant any such other relief or relief's as this Hon'ble Court deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of Justice and Equity. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that several cases are filed by the wife against the husband and she is not co-operating for the trial. The MC of the year 2021. The parents of the petitioner are suffering with health ailments and turberculosis. Hence, there shall be a direction to Family Court, Bangalore to dispose of the MC.No.2026/2021 expeditiously. 3. Several cases are pending before the Family courts at Bangalore which are much older than 2021. Even the cases from the year 2016 are pending. This court has already directed the family courts to dispose off the old matters particularly till 2019. Under these circumstances, this court - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:31374 WP No. 17842 of 2025 cannot issue any direction to the Family Court, Bangalore to dispose of the MC.No.No.2026/2021 out of turn. Hence, this court is passing the following: ORDER i. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. ii. All pending I.As., in the writ petition shall stand closed.
