The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "i. issue an order and direction in the exercise of supervisory jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India directing the Civil Judge (J.D.), Koil, Aligarh to decide the application 7C2 dated 28.10.2024 of the petitioner in Original Suit No.909 of 2024 Ranjit Singh alias Ranveer Singh and another Versus Salma Bano and others filed by the petitioner within a specific period, pending in the court of Civil Judge (J.D.), Koil, Aligarh, (Annexure no.2 to this petition)." 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the aforementioned application is pending for adjudication. He prayed that the same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. The present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the Civil Judge (J.D.), Koil, Aligarh to consider and decide the aforementioned application of the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the respondents, after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
