Petitioner has come up before this Court seeking the following reliefs:
“That any appropriate writ/order or direction may kindly be issued and the respondents may kindly be directed to transfer the petitioner from present place of posting i.e. Regional Hospital, Kullu, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh to Regional Hospital, Manali, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh as the post of Staff Nurse is lying vacant there, after considering her representation”.

Grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as a Staff Nurse at Regional

2025:HHC:3031 - 2 - Hospital, Kullu since July 2021 and the petitioner has completed her normal tenure at the present place of posting. On account of family hardships and another extenuating circumstances, the petitioner is stated to have made a representation on 03.12.2024 [Annexure P-1] for transfer from Regional Hospital, Kullu to Civil Hospital, Manali, District Kullu, where the post of Staff Nurse, is lying vacant.

Learned Counsel for petitioner, on instructions states that the petitioner shall be satisfied, in case, Respondent No.2-Director Health, Government of Himachal Pradesh, is directed to examine the representation dated 03.12.2024 [Annexure P-1] which has not been decided as yet.

Prayer made by
Learned Counsel for petitioner, being innocuous, is not opposed by Learned State Counsel, who states that the case of petitioner shall be examined in accordance with law and administrative needs/requirements/feasibility.

Taking into account entirety of the facts and circumstances and Leaving all questions open, this Court disposes of the instant writ petition, by directing the Respondent No.2-Director Health, Government of Himachal Pradesh to examine the representation dated 03.12.2024 [Annexure P-1] and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording a personal hearing to the petitioner, within four weeks from today.
In aforesaid terms, the instant petition and all pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
