Petitioners have approached this Court for protection. According to them, they were known to each other for quite some time and decided to marry. 3. As per averments made in para 6 of writ petition, marriage between them was solemnised on 13.01.2025. As per documents enclosed with the writ petition, both are major. Certain photographs have also been enclosed with the writ petition in support of their contention that marriage was solemnised as per Hindu customs and rites. 4. Petitioners appeared before this Court. Petitioner No. 2 stated that he is serving as salesman in a petrol pump at Bazpur, Udham Singh Nagar. He further submits that he has not received any formal education. Petitioner No. 1 stated that she has studied upto intermediate level and is not employed anywhere as of now. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that since 2025:UHC:4194-DB both are major and as per averments made in writ petition, they are now married, therefore, he has no objection if protection is granted to them. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Police Station Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar to provide protection to petitioners for a period of 6 weeks to ensure that no harm is caused to them by private respondents or any other person acting at their behest. Upon expiry of 6 weeks, the SHO concerned shall make fresh assessment of threat perception of petitioners and take such steps, as are felt necessary. 7.
