The matter had come up on 20.06.2025 and was adjourned to today for production of the detenue. Since the HCP did not figure in the regular list, a mention was made before us in the morning and hence a special list was directed to be published and the matter has been taken up in the afternoon. 2. The police has produced the detenue in the court. Her date of birth is 24.11.2002 and hence she is a major. She is quite clear that she reciprocates the sentiments of the petitioner and also confirm that she is not being held against her wishes by any person including the private respondents. No.1117 of 2025 detenue have not been arrayed as a party in the petition and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the detenue has been secured from the residence of respondents 4 and 5 who are none other than the relatives of the detenue. Since the petitioner and the detenue are majors and claim to be in love with each other and the detenue has also confirmed that she is not being forcibly detained, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this habeas corpus petition and accordingly, the same is closed. Let the detenue be set at liberty.
