2. Petitioner lodged an F.I.R. under Section 147, 324, 325, 504 & 506 I.P.C. in Police Station Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, on 05.05.2021.
3. By means of this writ petition, petitioner sought a direction to the Police Authorities to produce the Progress Report, in order to monitor investigation in respect of the said F.I.R.
4. Learned State Counsel, on instructions, submits that, upon completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed against the accused persons for offences punishable under Section 147, 324, 325, 504 & 506 I.P.C., on 02.08.2021. Thus, he submits that the writ petition has now become infructuous.
5. This Court finds substance in the said submission. Having regard to the limited prayer in the writ petition, the relief do not survive after filing of charge sheet.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
