The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pakur (T) P.S. Case No. 317 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 109, 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Pakur. On 14.12.2024, the informant was intercepted by the named accused persons including the petitioner. It is alleged that co-accused Devraj Sarkar @ Nemua fired at the informant causing injury on both his thighs. It was submitted that there is no specific allegation of assault against the petitioner. It was further submitted that co-accused Somitro Das has been granted Anticipatory Bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Pakur, in connection with Pakur (T) P.S.
