As per the allegation in the FIR the petitioner is accused of strangulating his sister by putting a pillow on her face and thereafter throwing her dead body in the well. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence and has falsely been implicated in this case due to dirty village politics and own confessional statement before the police. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60310 of 2024(4) dt.10-01-2025 2/2 occurrence. He next submitted that petitioner has nothing to do with the death of the victim Arti Kumari who had committed suicide by jumping in the well. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent is in custody since 23.09.2023. 5. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail. 6. From perusal of the case diary, FIR and the impugned order dated 16.03.2024 passed by the learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge, Saran at Chapra, it appears that petitioner is named in the FIR. It also appears that it is a case of honor killing and there is specific allegation against the petitioner of killing his sister and lover of his sister, Bhanu Rai and dumped the dead body of his sister with heavy stone. 7.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, the nature of allegation as alleged in the FIR is serious and it is a case of double murder hence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 8. Prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. annpurna/- (Ramesh Chand Malviya, J) U T
