The petitioner submits that a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- can be immediately paid and the balance may be permitted to be paid in instalments. In view of the submission made, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to accept Ext.P2 demand draft for Rs.20,00,000/- and permit the petitioner to pay the balance amount with interest at the rate of 12% per annum in 8 equal monthly instalments, the first instalment becoming payable on or before 05.05.2025 and the subsequent instalments becoming payable on or before the 5th of the succeeding months. If the petitioner commits default in payment of two consecutive instalments, the 2025:KER:29177 WP(C) NO. 14039 OF 2025 3 respondents are free to continue with coercive steps for recovery of the amount.
