ORAL ORDER
In this petition, the petitioner is challenging the order dated 29th December, 2017 (Annexure-P), wherein the

respondent No.2 constituted a Managing Committee consisting of eleven members for the management of the petitioner-Mutt.
2. Heard Sri. M. Manjunath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Smt. Swati Ashok, learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2; and Sri. Mahantesh Shettar, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondent No.4.
3. Smt. Swati Ashok, learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2 filed memo dated 12th October, 2022 for disposal of the petition, which reads as under:
"MEMO FOR DISPOSAL In the present writ petition, the petitioner has questioned the order passed by the respondent No.2 dated 29th December, 2017 for a period of three years at Annexure-P. Since, the term of the Committee itself is over, the writ petition becomes infructuous. Wherefore, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to dispose the present writ petition in the interest of justice and equity."
4. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the Managing

Committee is appointed for a period of three years or until further orders whichever is earlier as per the impugned order and accordingly, the term of the Committee itself is completed by efflux of time. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present petition does not survive for
consideration. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
