The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Badgad P.S. Case No. 07 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 317/61 of the B.N.S. and Section 8A(C)/21(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act and Section 18(c), 27(b)(ii), 27(d) of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Garhwa. 3. On 15.12.2024, Badgad Police raided the house of the petitioner and seized huge quantity of cough syrup and other prohibited drugs. 4. The quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of commercial quantity. 5. Mr. Sheo Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a lady and she is in custody since 18.12.2024 and charge has been framed in this case. 6. Considering the fact that the commercial quantity of drugs was recovered from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
