The petitioner is facing severe opposition from the Teachers, the Education Department and the police due to frivolous complaints regarding the administration of the School. 2. Based on false information provided to the media, alleging that the petitioner appointed hundreds of Teachers illegally, the media defamed both the petitioner and the School. The petitioner was arrested by the police and remained in custody for approximately 60 days. The petitioner is suffering from neurological disorders and related ailments, W.P.(C)No.14120 of 2025 :4: 2025:KER:29401 which were aggravated by his imprisonment and he is now partially disabled. 3. The petitioner submitted representations to the State Government and the Director of Public Instruction (Exts.P1 and P2), requesting the transfer of the Teachers and students to another School or the purchase of the School at market value. However, these representations have not been considered by the respondents. 4. The issue of School closure has been addressed by a Division Bench of this Court in the case of the State of Kerala and others v. Manager, Aided Upper Primary School, Kozhikode [2016 (2) KHC 629 (DB)], where permission was granted to close the School. 5. I have heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Government Pleader representing the respondents. W.P.(C)No.14120 of 2025 :5: 2025:KER:29401 6. The petitioner would submit that petitioner is suffering from neurological disorders and related ailments and is not in a position to run the School. The petitioner has, therefore, submitted Ext.P1 representation to the 1st respondent. 7. In the facts of the case, it would be only just and proper that the 1st respondent considers Ext.P1 and takes a decision thereon. The writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P1 representation and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of five months, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other affected parties, if any.
