Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:142895 Court No. - 50 Case :- CRIMINAL MISC. BAIL CANCELLATION APPLICATION No. - 439 of 2024 Applicant :- Mangal Pal Opposite Party :- State of U.P. and Another Counsel for Applicant :- Meghraj Pandey,Shivam Kumar Pal,Shivanand Mani Tripathi Counsel for Opposite Party :- G.A.,Saurabh Pandey Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. The applicant is the first informant in this case. Shri Saurabh Pandey, learned counsel for the opposite party No. 2 submits that the allegations in the instant application have been made by the first informant who is the applicant in regard to threats issued against one panch witness. Admittedly neither the first informant nor any material witness have been threatened. Panch witnesses have not come before this Court nor they have sought any direction for the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018. Moreover, the allegations in the FIR are against the petitioner are vague and general. The applicant does not have any motive to commit the offence and does not stand to gain in any manner by threatening the witnesses. The allegations against the opposite party No. 2 are vague and self serving and do not make out ground for cancellation of bail. The bail cancellation application is accordingly dismissed.
