This writ petition has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 08.04.2024 passed by Commissioner, Meerut in Case No.1458 of 2023 (Mohsin Vs. State of U.P. (Computer Case No.C202311000001458) and order dated 17.08.2023 passed by Additional Police Commissioner, Commissionerate, Ghaziabad in Case No.352 of 2023, under Section 2/3 of of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, P.S. Masuri, District Ghaziabad. 2. The main order has been passed under Section 2/3 of UP Control of Goondas Act, which is effective only for six months. The period of externment got over on 16.02.2024, hence, with efflux of time the matter has become infructuous. 3. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
