1. At the outset, learned State counsel submitted that the impugned
order (Annexure P-3) has been withdrawn and a fresh order has been passed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the aforesaid position, he does not wish to press the present petition and the same may be disposed of accordingly.
3. Although the petition has been disposed of but considering the
facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that, for the learning of all the officers of the Union Territory, Chandigarh, a copy of the judgment passed by this Court in Suresh Pal vs. UHBVNL & Ors. (CWP No.2316-2020) decided on 04.03.2025 be sent to the Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh.
4. At this stage, learned Public Prosecutor for UT Chandigarh submitted that the perusal of the aforesaid judgment would be beneficial for the UT Administration and sincere efforts will be made to understand the principles laid down in the judgement.
