In the present petition, the petitioners are praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to count the period of daily wages service from 21.06.1991 to 01.04.1999 alongwith regular service as qualifying service for the purpose of grant of pensionary benefits. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.1 to decide the representation dated 28.02.2025 (Annexure P-4) submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. 3.
