The said crime was registered for the offences under Sections 316(5),318(4),336(3),61 (2)(a) read with 3(5) BNS. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the de facto complainant is the Regional Business Head of Kanaka Durga Finance Limited. The said company is involved in granting secured loans. During the course of business, the customer is used to pledge gold and obtain loan. lt is the duty of the Branch Manager by name Syed Khaza, who used to appraise the gold. During the coui±se--of verl-fication, it was found that c=*#szzred \ some of the gold articles are not pure gold ornaments. On the basis of ~/ it, a crime has been registered against the petitioner and others. According to the de facfo complainant, the petitioner is a chartered accountant of the Kanaka Durga Finance Limited. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the role of the petitioner is only to see the accounts of the company. So far as verification is concerned, it is the duty of the Branch Manager Gum appraiser. As such, no role has been attributed to the petitioner except stating that he is a chartered accountant of the company. 4. ln view of the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions: i) ln the event of the petitioner/A-3 being arrested, the Station House Officer, Punganur Police Station, Chittoor District, is directed to release the petitioner on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the Station House Officer, Punganur Police Station, Chittoor District. ii) The petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation as and when required, and he shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer. * _--- To, 5.
