The following prayers have been made in the instant petition:- " (i) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, including a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent police authorities not to harass or intimidate the petitioner in any manner and to strictly follow the due process of law. (ii) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to take appropriate action against the erring police officers involved in the unauthorized harassment of petitioner." 2. After making submissions, at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petitioner with liberty to the petitioner to avail other remedies. 3. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty in terms of the prayer. 4.
