Case No.142 of 2020, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 121-A, 353 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-A), 25 (1-B) (a), 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A., Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj. It is alleged that on 03.12.2020 at about 07:30 A.M., on the basis of confidential information that extremists have assembled at Salamdari, informant party raided the place of occurrence. There ensued an encounter between the police party and accused persons. After being overpowered the accused persons managed to flee. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the place of occurrence. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the FIR. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by co- ordinate bench of this court as well as by this court earlier. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Panki P.S.
