The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Hemavathi Reservoir Project, Hassan, to consider and dispose of the case bearing No.LND/HRP(D):08/12-13 in terms of the directions issued by this Court on 30.07.2024 in W.P.No.10354/2024. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that this Court too, has passed several such - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33925 WP No. 7675 of 2025 orders setting aside the earlier orders passed by SLAO who had cancelled the grants made earlier. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in W.P.No.10354/2024 similar directions have been given by the Co-ordinate Bench with specific directions regarding the valuation of the standing trees that has to be taken into consideration by the SLAO. However, since no time frame is fixed by this Court, the present writ petition is filed seeking specific directions. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.2-SLAO to comply with the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.10354/2024 dated 30.07.2024, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
