This petition is directed against an order passed by the Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Nagina, Bijnor, which records that the officer concerned had no jurisdiction in law to grant permission to run the market and that what were intended in his previous communication was merely to submit a report, and that an appropriate decision is required at the competent level. 2. Such being the tenor of the order and the fact that appropriate decision at the competent level is awaited, we do not find any occasion to interfere in the matter, at this stage. 3. Leaving it open for the competent authority, i.e., Municipality to deal with the petitioner's application for grant of permission to run weekly market, as per law, this petition is consigned to the records.
