Phukan, the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.K. Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS,2023 praying for grant of anticipatory bail in respect of Mayong P.S. Case No. 114/2024. 3. The wife of the present petitioner No. 1, Sri Dipangkar Biswas @ Tapash Biswas had eloped with Man Prasad Das and they were living separately in a house. 4. Thereafter, on 13.10.2024, the petitioner No. 1. Sri Dipangkar Biswas @ Tapash Biswas and the other petitioners attacked Man Prasad Das in his house. It is alleged that the petitioners used sharp weapon and Man Prasad Das as well as his father, Mukul Das sustained serious injuries. 5. Earlier one person named Pramod Rai approached this Court for anticipatory bail and in that matter, the case diary was called for and from his statement, it came to light that Man Prasad Das sustained simple injuries caused by blunt weapon. 6. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 7. This Court is of the opinion that under the given circumstances of the case, the present petitioners do not deserve to be detained in custody. Therefore, their pre-arrest bail application is allowed. 8. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Mayong P.S. Case No. 114/2024, the petitioners, 1. Sri Dipangkar Biswas @ Tapash Biswas, 2. Sri Durga Charan Biswas, 3. Sri Dipangkar Biswas & 4. Smt. Minati Biswas shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- each with sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. With the aforesaid direction, the present bail application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
