The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that they have given a representation dated 27.08.2024 for claiming seniority, and such representation is yet to be considered by the second respondent. 3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5. In view of the submission made by the Government Advocate, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 27.08.2024, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations.
