It is submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that the amount under cheque has now been handed over to the learned counsel for the respondent No.2. 6. Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 admitted the fact that the amount under cheque has now been returned to respondent No.2 and there is no use of keeping the matter pending before the learned Appellate Court. 7. In view of the statements made by learned counsel for the parties and particularly, in view of the fact that the amount under cheque has now been received by respondent No.2, the application No.50Kha dated 28.04.2023 2025:UHC:3667 (Annexure No.8) moved by the applicant in Criminal Appeal No.11 of 2020 Anwaar Vs. State and Another, is allowed. The parties are directed to appear before the National Lok Adalat, New Tehri to be held on 10.05.2025 for considering the application of appellant/applicant for compromise, in accordance with law. 8.
