This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 2/ Assistant Collector, First Class/ Sub Divisional Officer, Bilhaur Kanpur Nagar to decide the Case No. T202503410206757 "Rajesh Kumar Vs. Komil Prasad and Others U/s. 116 the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 pending before it, expeditiously, within some stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the parties to maintain status quo over the land in question having Arazi No. 587/3 mesuring an area about 0.2770 Hectare situated at village Raheempur Vishdhan Tehsil Bilhaur, Kanpur Nagar." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that Case No. T202503410206757 (Rajesh Kumar Vs. Komil Prasad and Others) U/s 116 the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending consideration before respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.2 to decide Case No. T202503410206757 (Rajesh Kumar Vs. Komil Prasad and Others) U/s 116 the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
