The claimants filed an application for release of the said amount, but the Tribunal has passed an order on 17.08.2023 directing the concerned Bank not to issue any cheque book and/or debit card to the claimants. Therefore, submitted that the claimants are not able to utilize the compensation amount when claimants have lost their son and under distressful condition the compensation amount to some extent would solace the claimants to mitigate the adverse factors to be faced due to death of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:53790 MFA No. 6159 of 2025 son. Therefore, the order regarding not to issue cheque book and/or debit card is set aside. 3. The Tribunal is directed to release the entire amount in favour of claimants with equal apportionment.
