Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the Central Reserve Police Force in the year 2013 and has put in more than twelve years of service in the force. He has worked in the state of Chattisgarh and naxal affected area in Bijapur District of Chattisgarh. He being a resident of Lakshmisagar Village, Kolar District, he made an application to the Deputy Commissioner, Kolar District at Annexure - C in the year - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30682 WP No. 20942 of 2025 2017 along with a recommendation of the Commandant of the 170 Battalion. 3. The grievance of the petitioner however, is that till date no action has been taken by the respondents in granting agricultural land in favour of the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner also draws the attention to this Court to Annexure - G, which is memorandum issued by the Tahsildar on 28.03.2025 recommending the case of the petitioner for grant of 5 acres of land in Survey No.46 of Narasapura Hobli, Sonnenahalli Grama, Kolar District. 5. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Deputy Commissioner, Kolar District, to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of agricultural land in terms of the provisions of the relevant rules of grant and pass necessary order as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30682 WP No. 20942 of 2025 three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
