JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER Date : 26.06.2025 Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court on 13.06.2025, Smti. Chaya Rani Goswami, retired District & Sessions Judge, Assam was proposed to be appointed as an Arbitrator to decide the dispute arising by and between the parties in respect of the contract work relating to Earthwork in bank & cutting, construction of minor bridges, protection work and other related works from CH. 17.00 KM to 20.5 KM in connection with Dimapur (Dhansiri)-Kohima (Zubza) New Line Project. The written declaration submitted by the prospective learned Arbitrator by the communication dated 19.06.2025 is placed before the Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the copy of the same is also available in the case record. In view of the above, the appointment of Smti. Chaya Rani Goswami, is hereby confirmed as the sole Arbitrator to arbitrate the disputes arising by and between the parties in respect of the contract for the work relating to Earthwork in bank & cutting, construction of minor bridges, protection work and other related works from CH. 17.00 KM to 20.5 KM in connection with Dimapur (Dhansiri)-Kohima (Zubza) New Line Project. The parties will appear before the Arbitrator after 4 (four) weeks. The arbitrator will thereafter proceed to commence the arbitration. Copy of this order be communicated to the learned Arbitrator, Smti Chaya Rani Goswami by the Page No.# 3/3 Registry of this Court.
