This Court, vide order dated 21.12.2023, passed in MCRC No. 8358 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Nishant Yadav @ Golu Yadav, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 21.12.2023. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Jashpur District-Jashpur (C.G) vide his request letter dated 05.11.2024 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that currently, in this case, only the Investigating OfÏcer's (I.O.) statement is pending, for which the date was fixed as 05.11.2024. However, the I.O. did not appear in person and instead appeared through video conferencing. Since this case is related to the NDPS Act, the I.O. has been directed to appear in person before the competent Court. Currently, the I.O. is posted at Pandri Police Station, Raipur district. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time therefore, he prays for grant of further time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
