Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55967 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/3 causing head injury. It is further alleged that, on the alarm raised by the informant, her mother-in-law and father-in-law arrived to rescue her, whereupon all the accused persons assaulted them brutally with lathi and danda. It is also alleged that the accused persons snatched earrings and a nose pin from the informant. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is contended that although allegations have been made regarding assault and snatching of earrings and a nose pin from the informant, the injury report reflects injury only on Pappu Kumar, which has been opined to be simple in nature. He further submits that the present case has been instituted on false and frivolous allegations. The incident, in fact, arose in the course of agricultural work, and instead of amicably settling the dispute, a scuffle ensued, resulting in injuries to both parties. 5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail; however, he fairly submits that both the parties are agnates. 6.
In the facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of ₹30000/- (thirty thousand) as mentioned in Section 2(1) (d) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha
