1. Despite receipt of notice, respondent No.2-Superintendent Aashiana (Place of safety), Sector 15, Chandigarh remains unrepresented.
2. On 17.05.2024, two petitions were disposed of, one filed by the petitioner and another, whereas, second petition filed by the petitioner's wife. They prayed for grant of protection of their life and liberty.
3. It was found that Sahista has not attained the age of majority. Hence, she was sent to Aashiana (Place of Safety) with a direction that she be kept in the Place of Safety till she attains the age of majority.
4. The petitioner claims that she has attained the age of majority on
26.05.2025.
5. Accordingly, directions are issued to Aashiana (Place of Safety) to comply with the order passed on 17.05.2024 in CRWP-2737-2024 and CRM-M- 17701-2024.
6. The petition is disposed of.
