It is the contention of the petitioner that she has filed an application in Form No.57 on 17.07.2022 seeking regularization of unauthorized cultivation to an extent of 2 acre 20 guntas in Sy.No.10/P3 of Basti Halli Village, Chinakuruli Hobli, Pandavapura Taluk, and the committee has not taken a decision on the application. 3. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent-Tahsildar was duty bound to place the application filed by the petitioner before the ‘Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ and the Committee was also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. 4. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Pandavapura Taluk to place the application of the petitioner before the Committee within a period of four - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33374 WP No. 20003 of 2025 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The Committee thereafter shall consider the application and pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible within an outer limit of two months from the date of the application. Needless to observe that the respondents shall not dispossess the petitioner from his peaceful possession of the land till the application of the petitioner is disposed of in terms of the directions issued by this Court.
