In the instant matter, the challenge is made to the exclusion of the names of the petitioners from the Voters List. On 11.07.2025, this Court had granted time to the learned counsel for the respondents to file counter affidavits, so that the matter could be heard. This Court is constraint to observe that it appears that the respondents are insensitive to the issue that is involved in the matter because counter affidavits have not been filed on time. Today, on behalf of the respondents, time is sought for filing counter affidavits. Counter affidavits may be filed within three weeks. Two weeks thereafter, rejoinder affidavit, if any, may be filed.
