2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 325 of 2024 arising out of Bagbera P.S. Case No. 62 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 631 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 413, 414, 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur.
3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 7925 of 2024.
4. On 27.04.2024, on the basis of confidential information that the petitioner was involved in snatching mobile phones of the passengers outside Tatanagar Railway Station, police apprehended him from his house. On the confession of the petitioner, several snatched mobile phones were recovered from the possession of co-accused.
5. Mr. Jitendra Nath Upadhyay, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that co-accused persons from whom possession, stolen mobile phones were recovered have been granted bail by this Court. It was submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody for about one year.
6. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- IV, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur in connection with S.T. Case No. 325 of 2024 arising out of Bagbera P.S. Case No. 62 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 631 of 2024.
