It is the contention of the petitioner that his representation dated 23.04.2025 at Annexure-A has not been considered by the Tahsildar, Hanur Taluk, Chamarajanagara District, to enter the name of the petitioner in the Revenue Records on the strength of a registered sale deed dated 27.01.1984. It is contended - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37324 WP No. 25303 of 2025 that the petitioner purchased the land from the khathedar Thimmamma. 2. In the considered opinion of this court, it is the bounden duty of the Tahsildar to consider the representation given by the petitioner, to issue notice to the khatedar or the legal representatives, if the khatedar is no more, find out if there are any objections and then proceed to enter the name of the petitioner if there are no objections. If there are objections, the petitioner may be directed to approach the competent civil court to get a declaration of title. 3.
