The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No.394 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 317(5)/336(3)/340(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. On 20.11.2024, Gumla Police on the basis of confidential information, raided the house of one Mahatma Oraon, where Mahatma Oraon and Nitesh Oraon were present. On search, three motorcycles were recovered from there. It was submitted that on the pointing out of the apprehended accused persons, two stolen motorcycles were recovered from the garage of the petitioner, where he is an employee and the garage does not belong to him. It was further submitted that offence alleged is triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate. It was finally submitted that co-accused Mahatma Oraon has been granted bail by this Court earlier in B.A. No. 1362/2025. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla, in connection with Gumla P.S.
