By the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his case and pass an order for his re- engagement as Special Police Officer. The petitioner has further prayed for a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representations submitted by him, annexed as Annexures II and IV to this petition. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the aforesaid representations within a reasonable time. 3. Ms. Nadiya Abdullah, learned Assisting Counsel vice Mr. Mohsin Ul Showkat Qadri, learned Senior Additional Advocate General, submits that she has no objection if the petition is disposed of in the manner prayed for by the petitioner. 4. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the representations of the petitioner (Annexures II and IV) by passing a speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order is made available to him. 5.
