Petitioner contends victim was employed to take care of her mother-in-law. Out of grudge, she has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, she prays for anticipatory bail. 2. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 3. We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim. Victim alleges she was molested by the petitioner’s brother-in-law. She was only present at the spot. 4. Keeping in the mind the extent of her complicity in the crime, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Rinki Sarkar be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 7 th of February 2025 02:24:05 PM 2 the BNSS.
