By means of present petition, petitioner seeks to quash the summoning order dated 21.12.2024 passed by A.C.J.M., Roorkee, District Hardiwar and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1059/2024, “State vs. Robin”, under Sections 323, 498-A, 504 of IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the court of A.C.J.M., Roorkee, District Haridwar, on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties. 2. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court, vide order dated 08.04.2025, had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, DLSA, Haridwar to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, Secretary, DLSA, Haridwar has submitted report dated 15.04.2025 which indicates that the 1 2025:UHC:3035 parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application IA No.1/2025 is allowed. As a consequence thereof, summoning order dated 21.12.2024 passed by A.C.J.M., Roorkee, District Hardiwar and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1059/2024, “State vs. Robin”, under Sections 323, 498-A, 504 of IPC and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the court of A.C.J.M., Roorkee, District Haridwar, are hereby quashed. 5. Accordingly, present petition is disposed of, on the basis of compromise/settlement arrived at between the parties.
