1. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :-
"A. YOUR LORDSHIP may be pleased to admit this petition; B. YOUR LORDSHIP may be pleased issue appropriate writ, order or direction upon concern respondent authority to decide the application of the petitioner and disbursing bene<t higher pay scale and revise pay scale either 9300-34800 grade Rs.4200 (assistant superintendent) or 9300-34800 grade Rs.4600 (Manager grade-1) w.e.f. 13.08.2014 instead of 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400 and arrears of salary may also granted with interest of 8% as well as provide all consequential bene<t to the petitioner within stipulated time."

However, though the aforesaid prayer is made, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner could not point out that at any point of time, the petitioner has approached the Competent Authority who was empowered to consider the representation of the petitioner. Therefore, he states that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh representation to the appropriate Competent Authority within a period of two weeks from today and once the representation is made, the said authority may be directed to decide the same in accordance with law as early as possible.
3. In view of the above submission, it is directed that the petitioner may make a fresh representation to the appropriate Competent Authority seeking second higher pay scale within a period of four weeks from today. Once the representation of the petitioner is received by the appropriate Competent Authority, the said authority is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt of representation. The Competent Authority is directed to pass a reasoned order in case if the petitioner's representation is rejected.
4. With the aforesaid direction, the petition stands
disposed of. It is clari<ed that this Court has not examined the merits of the case.
