Quash by writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ or order direction in the nature of writ, the order Dtd. 09.12.2025 bearing passed by the Respondent No.3 per Annexure-A bearing no. praEe/UuNi/Mum/18/2023-24-516. b. Award the costs of this petition. c. Such other and further relief as may be just and necessary in the interest of justice. 2. The grievance of the Petitioner is that, without issuance of any notice and complying with the principles of natural justice, the closure order dated 09.12.2025 has been passed by Respondent No.3 at Annexure-A. 3. A perusal of Annexure-A does not indicate of any notice having been issued to the Petitioner. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:54417 WP No. 38276 of 2025 4. Learned AGA submits that the said order had been passed on account of the Petitioner carrying on its activities in an Eco-Sensitive Zone. 5. Even if that be so, in my considered opinion, it would be required for a notice to be issued to the affected party before any action is taken and comply with the principles of natural justice before doing so. In the present case, admittedly, no notice has been issued to the Petitioner, I pass the following: ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed. ii) A certiorari is issued, the order dated 09.12.2025 passed by Respondent No.3 at Annexure-A, is quashed. iii) Liberty is, however, reserved to the Respondents to issue appropriate notice to the Petitioner, consider the reply, if any, submitted - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:54417 WP No. 38276 of 2025 by the Petitioner and thereafter take necessary action. iv) The hand delivery of the operative portion of the order is ordered.
