1. The instant criminal writ petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from danger at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for protection of their life and liberty, the petitioners have moved representation dated 27.05.2025 (Annexure P-5), however, no action has been taken thereon till date. He submits that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied, if the said representation is considered and decided by passing a speaking order in a time bound frame.
3. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 only at this stage.

Accordingly, and without commenting upon the merits of the claim of the petitioners and even the assertions set out in the petition, the same is disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Ambala that if any such representation, as indicated above, is indeed pending consideration, it shall be dealt with expeditiously in accordance with law by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and convey the same to the petitioners. 04.06.2025
