JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that he had filed an application in Form No.53 in the year 2003 seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation of 2 acres of land in Sy.No.63 of Bathiganahalli Village, Sulibele Hobli, Hosakote taluk, Bangalore Rural District, and the Committee passed an order on 26.07.2003 in favour of the petitioner and thereafter Grant Certificate was issued on 04.04.2005. However, the name of the petitioner is not entered in the revenue records. 3. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34167 WP No. 26254 of 2025 respondent-Tahsildar was duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. That exercise not has been taken by the respondent-authorities till date. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Hosakote Taluk, to verify the records and find out if an order of regularisation was passed by the Committee on 26.07.2003 and whether Saguvali chit was issued in favour of the petitioner on 04.04.2005. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, after collecting the necessary fee, in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
