Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A. for the State- respondents and perused the record. 2. At the very outset, learned A.G.A. submits that further investigation in the instant case which was directed by the Police has already been concluded and charge-sheet has been submitted against the accused persons on 14.09.2025 and the same is likely to be forwarded to the competent Court with all expedition. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the aforesaid facts. 4. In view thereof, no cause of action now survives and as such, the instant writ petition has become infructuous and is accordingly consigned to record. 5. In response to the order dated 09.09.2025 passed by this Court, Mr. Akash Patel, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gomti Zone, Varanasi has appeared in person today before the Court.
