1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the Tahsildar/respondent to conclude the revenue proceedings pending before him bearing Revenue Case No.202411050600040 of 2023-24.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that because of the mistake of revenue authorities, the land which belongs to the government has been sold to the private parties and as a result of which, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the Hon’ble Chief Minister in Jan Darshan Programme, which was accepted and pursuance to the said, the Revenue Case No.202411050600040 of 2023-24 has been registered by the Tahsildar and notices were issued to the respondents. The matter was listed before the Tahsildar on various dates, but because of non-availability of the Presiding Officer, the matter is being adjourned, without any hearing. He further submits that the present writ petition be
disposed of with a direction to the Tahsildar to conclude the revenue proceeding within a stipulated period.
3. Learned counsel for the State/respondent, on instructions, would submit that if the proceeding before the Tahsildar is still pending,
3 the same will be considered and necessary order will be passed in accordance with law within a period of sixty days from today.
4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties.
5. In view of submission made by learned counsel for the State and as the proceeding before the Tahsildar has already been started on 25/09/2024, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Tahsildar to conclude the proceeding within a period of sixty days in accordance with law.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is
