The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Doranda P.S. Case No. 447 of 2009, S.T. Case No.17 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 376 & 420 of the Indian Penal Code and cognizance of this case is taken under Sections 376/493 I.P.C., pending in the court of Sri Amit Shekhar, learned Additional Judicial Commissioner- XV, Ranchi. On the pretext of marriage, petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the victim, who is a major lady. Later on, petitioner refused to marry her. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Amit Shekhar, learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XV, Ranchi, in connection with Doranda P.S.
