The Communication dated 04.01.2025 issued by the third respondent vide Annexure-F is called into question in this Writ Petition on several grounds as setout in the Memorandum of Writ Petition. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. Suffice it to note that based on the letter received from the BBMP, the Assistant Executive Engineer has issued a - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:28467 WP No. 7588 of 2025 communication to the petitioners on 04.01.2025 calling upon for compliance within seven days, failing which they would take steps for disconnection of the power supply. The petitioners without submitting a reply, have invoked the writ jurisdiction. Hence, this Court deems it proper to direct the petitioners to submit a suitable reply to the communication within two weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. Upon receipt of such reply, the authority concerned shall consider the same within two weeks thereon in accordance with the law. All the contentions of the parties are kept open. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. Till consideration of the reply that would be submitted by the petitioners, the authority concerned is directed not to take coercive steps for disconnection of power supply.
