The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 24/12/2014 in Writ Petition No.8079 of 2014, whereby the respondent authority, Deputy Collector, Latur, was directed to decide the pending proceedings on or before 30/04/2015. The respondent failed to decide the proceedings within the stipulated time, and therefore, the present contempt petition is filed in this Court. 2. Thereafter, the respondent filed an afÏdavit stating the reasons for the delay in deciding the proceedings. The explanation offered is found acceptable.
