Petition is filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure with the following prayer: “WHEREFORE, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to: Transfer the proceedings titled “Sachin Sreeram vs. Sreeram S & Ors registered in O.S.No.220/2025 before - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:42450 CP No. 335 of 2025 the Addl. Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Bhadravathi, Shivamogga, to the City Civil Court at Bengaluru.” 3. The petitioner/wife has filed a petition for divorce against the respondent/husband on the file of Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, in M.C No.345/2025. 4. Respondent/husband has filed a suit for partition in O.S No.220/2025 on the file of Addl. Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Bhadravati, Shivamogga District. 5. The suit property is situated in the territorial jurisdiction of Bhadravati, Shivamogga District. 6. Petitioner/wife seeks the transfer of said suit to be tried along with M.C No.345/2025 on the file of Family Court at Bengaluru. 7. Taking note of the provisions of Sections 16 to 20 of the Code of Civil Procedure, Court at Bhadravathi alone has got jurisdiction to try the suit. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:42450 CP No. 335 of 2025 8. Further, in case, if the wife has got any difficulty for effectively participating in the suit at Bhadravathi, she may utilize the facility of video conferencing. 9.
