1. Heard Mr. S. Nawaz, learned Amicus Curiae for the petitioner. None appeared for

2. This criminal petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is filed for quashment of the proceeding of C.R.Case No. 1267/2011 pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kamrup, Guwahati.
3. Though this matter has been pending since the year 2011, on last two occasions, i.e., 20.05.2024 & 07.01.2025, none represented the petitioner on call. Accordingly, Mr. S. Nawaz, learned counsel was appointed as an Amicus Curiae for the petitioner and the Registry was directed to list the matter today i.e., on 27.01.2025.
4. Mr. Nawaz, learned Amicus Curiae for the petitioner has obtained the status report from ECourts Services to the effect that the aforesaid C.R.Case No. 1267/2011 was
disposed of by an order dated 21.01.2015 and ECourts Services reflects that the nature of disposal was “contested and was dismissed” by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class

5. downloaded copy from ECourts Services is also submitted by Mr. Nawaz, learned Amicus Curiae for the petitioner.
6. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this case.
7. Accordingly, this criminal petition being infructuous stands closed.
